Beautiful Crusty Bread and Not a Bite to Eat

What a week so far, I have been visiting my father in Lancashire and eaten so much I have gained 2 pounds.
However, to top that the good Lord hath smite me, just now a couple of religious people knocked to invite me to their Easter day service in the local church, I replied I do not celebrate Easter. Not being deterred they asked what I celebrate, to which I replied the rhythms of the earth I am pagan.
Well no sooner had they gone that I sat down to enjoy a festive Hot Cross Bun and can you believe it, I broke my tooth on the b****y thing. The moral of this tale I suppose is that I should forget my pagan ways and hot foot it to church tomorrow before the filling falls out as well. So as you can imagine I am not the happiest bunny in the warren. But before the filling falls out and all hell breaks loose I will explain what I have been doing. I put together a baker's tray of delicious bloomers, cobbs, french sticks and a plaited loaf.

At this moment I am working on various pickles including a Branstan type chutney and mango chutney. I just stopped for lunch. Now I have finished poking and prodding my poor tooth I will resume my crafting.
