St Patrick's Day Delights

Well I say I have been busy making minis but the truth is my little puppy has been hugely distracting me. Currently he is hunting under my work desk for anything to play with. So far we have had pens, tissue paper and now a little accident. His house training is not going too well.  Here is a picture of him relaxing in his puppy bed.

Some of you may know my name is  Sarah Jane Maloney and with a name like Maloney you just know there is some Irish in their somewhere. My father comes from a little island in the West Indies, Montserrat which is nick named the Emerald Isle and where St Patrick's Day is celebrated in style.

Love is in the Air

This Valentine's Day I will be apart from my Valentine as he is working abroad and suffice to say he finds it hard enough to remember to buy me a gift when we are together. Therefore I am treating myself this year to a fine box of chocolates and who knows maybe some ice cream. If  you will celebrate Valentine's Day alone remember to treat yourself as its important to love yourself.

Here are the last of my miniature Easter Treats. I returned to the UK February 25th for 18 days to visit family and friends which I really enjoyed. Even though it was so cold. I find it quite frustrating making minis here in Indonesia often I reach for something only to find I have left it in the UK. Trying to locate supplies here can be time consuming and futile. I am glad I am able to return to the UK every 6/8 weeks.

It has only taken about seven weeks but, here I am in Indonesia making miniatures. Trying to source equipment has been challenging to say the least.  To be honest I am not totally happy with the lighting I am using for photographing my minis but needs must. As I am also travelling regularly between Perth Australia, the UK and Indonesia I am finding it difficult to find the time to sculpt. Then no sooner as I have I am on the move again. Well enough of my pitiful moaning here is a sample of what I have been up to.

I have been busy making little miniatures all week above is a selection of my new creations. The only advantage of having an awful summer here in London in the UK is that I am not tempted away from my work by the sunshine. However, I have been watching all of our sports people competing in the Olympics and have thoroughly enjoyed it.
